This analogue security camera pairs a CMOS image sensor with a ring of 36 infrared LEDs, so it keeps producing a usable picture down to 0 Lux — complete darkness — without needing a porch light left on all night.

Resolution is rated at 1000 TV lines, which gives enough detail on an analogue recorder or monitor to make out faces, plates and package labels at short range. The electronic shutter spans 1/50 (1/60) to 1/100,000 of a second, so bright daylight and headlight glare are handled as well as low light, and a signal-to-noise ratio above 48 dB keeps the image from turning grainy.

It runs on a standard DC 12V supply drawing 750 mA, so it works with common CCTV power adapters and distribution boxes and drops into an existing analogue system without new cabling standards. Suited to entrances, driveways, storerooms, workshops and small retail spaces.
