Know what's in the room before you say anything.
Rented apartment, hotel room, a car you don't fully trust: this pen-sized detector (model WT09) scans passively across 1 to 12,000 MHz for the radio signals that wireless cameras, GSM bugs and GPS trackers give off, and adds a laser lens finder to spot camera lenses from 5 cm to 10 m.
Six signal-strength LEDs and a five-step sensitivity dial let you walk the signal down to its source. Choose a beep, a silent vibration, LEDs only, or plug in a headset. Rechargeable over Type-C, about 30 g, 16 × 103 mm — it lives in a jacket pocket.
Why you'll like it
- Full-band RF scan — 1 to 12,000 MHz, passive, including Wi-Fi cameras.

- Four alert modes — beep, vibration, LED, headset.
- Adjustable sensitivity — 5 levels, 6 signal LEDs to home in.
- Pocket-sized — 16 × 103 mm, about 30 g, Type-C charging.

Good to know
- Detects transmitting devices; a camera that only records to a card is found with the laser lens finder, not the RF scan.
- Sweep slowly with sensitivity lowered near routers and phones, which also transmit.
