Most dash cams only watch the road ahead, which leaves you with nothing when a car clips you from the side or something happens at the kerb. This recorder uses three lenses on one body: a 1920x1080 front camera plus a left and right camera that each flip 180 degrees, so you can aim them at the windows, the pavement or the cabin depending on what you need covered.

The 2.4-inch screen shows any of the three feeds and switches between them, so you can frame the shot during installation and play footage back without a computer. Loop recording overwrites the oldest clips at 1, 2 or 3 minute intervals, or runs unlimited. Motion detection recording is included but switched off by default, and the side lenses have infrared night vision you turn on with a long press of the up button. Each side lens has a sliding privacy cover for when you would rather not film the inside of the car.

It mounts on a suction cup bracket and the head lifts off the mount, so you can take it inside. Power runs through the supplied 3.5 m cigarette lighter cord into a Type-C port. The 150 mAh internal battery is for shutdown only, so the unit needs to stay plugged in while recording. There is no WiFi and no phone app; files are read from the memory card. Option A is the standard single configuration of this recorder.
